Through the development of a new Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and a small new Medical Office Building (MOB), this project will bring much-needed healthcare services to the Jurupa Valley community. Both buildings are single-story, architecturally attractive buildings with generous on-site parking. The project has very strong support from local healthcare leaders and executives. Skilled nursing facilities provide short-term recovery for patients who have recently been discharged from a hospital, but are in need of additional medical care and support before returning home. Such facilities are staffed by nurses, medical assistants, physical/occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. The medical office building is expected to be occupied by either physicians or other healthcare tenants that complement the services being provided in the skilled nursing facility.
